Hylton Castle

I've been to Hylton Castle, Sunderland, a few times in the hope to find something unusual to write about. Sometimes alone, sometimes with others.

The castle and chapel are both derelict. The castle is closed off but you can freely enter the chapel. A few orbs made it onto some photos, but nothing significant.

The woods are nice to walk through but some people are scared of them and feel there is a presence lurking in the foliage.

Luckily during an open day, I was able to get some internal photos of the castle so you can see the extent of the dereliction inside.
