Hauntedland - Old Baptist Church Photo Gallery

Old Baptist ChurchThe Lindsay Road Baptist Church is now known as the Old Baptist Church. It is in Hendon, Sunderland. It closed as a church in 1966 and eventually it was taken over by the Sea Cadets in 1986.

In order to give the cadets the impression of being on board a ship, the building underwent a transformation from church to ship, complete with decks, engine room and sails! These photos don't do it justice.
