Chillingham Castle
Chillingham Castle in Northumberland is a great place. It looks old and dusty - just how an old castle should look. It doesn't over-burden itself with highly polished floors and pristine (don't touch) interior. It has a great atmosphere, but for me the enjoyment was the building and it's history. I knew about some of the ghostly stories behind it, but I sensed and felt nothing.
I took loads of photos and found orbs only on two of them. The torture chamber reveals the extent of man's cruelty on it's fellow man with some bizarre methods of torture. I would like to spend a night here in the furture to get a taste of the building at night - as it will take on a whole different persona when the living go to sleep! Does anything unearthly awaken?
