Old Baptist Church - Sunderland
I teamed up again with the Northern Ghost Investigations to investigate this old and unique church in Hendon, Sunderland.
The church was originally built in 1877 and went by the name of Lindsay Road Baptist Church. It closed as a church in 1966. Eventually, it was taken over by the Sea Cadets in 1986. In order to give the cadets the impression of being on board a ship, the building underwent a transformation from church to ship, complete with decks, engine room and sails!
